Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary

RiverBend is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary member. This recognition, sponsored by the Royal Canadian Golf Association, is only available to those few courses in North America (about 5%) that practice environmentally conscious development and turf management. RiverBend is only the second course in London, thirty second in Ontario, and sixtieth in Canada to receive this honour. The pest control, fertilization and water management will meet or exceed the high standards of the Audubon Cooperative. As well, the aim is to educate all of its residents in protection and enhancement of natural and wildlife habitat.
